What to expect when you see a Naturopath.
Prior to your appointment it’s important to spend some time thinking about what you would like to achieve around your health and wellness so you are clear and focussed on your goals and intention.
Allocate 60 minutes for your initial consultation.
Please ensure that you complete the online naturopathic intake form prior to your appointment. Ensure that you list your current prescribed medications, supplements and over the counter products that you take on a regular basis or have in your supplement cupboard.
If you have any recent pathology from your GP or another health care provider, please upload this to your intake form or bring it along for me to review.
As a part of your assessment, I’ll employ a variety of techniques including iridology, skin, hair, nail and tongue analysis, Naturopathic Emotional Release™, blood pressure & heart rate.
Recommendations are sent via email and text message after your consultation and should reach you within 7-10 business days. Your plan will include nutrition, lifestyle, supplement and herbal tonic recommendations, referrals to other health professionals and pathology referrals for private collection (if indicated).
Any supplements, herbal tonics, individual meal plans or pathology/hair testing that recommended are additional to your consultation fee.
Please spend some time reflecting on how you’ve managed your health, wellness and the treatment plan recommendations since your last visit, what may have worked well for you and what you feel might need some adjustment or extra support.
Allocate an uninterrupted hour for your appointment.
Bring any pathology and an updated list of any medications or supplements that you are regularly taking.
This appointment allows me to assess how you’ve responded to the recommendations that we agreed on in your previous appointment and either continue with treatment or change things up if they are not working for you.

You may only need one appointment, or you may choose to work with me for ongoing support for your wellness goals.
Ideally an appointment every 4-6 weeks after your initial consultation is recommended to achieve positive health and wellness outcomes. Think of me as being on your health care team – you may see your GP, dentist, podiatrist or chiropractor regularly for regular check ups and maintenance – and seeing a naturopath is no different.
Remember you are an individual with a unique biology, chemistry, emotions and spirit that is like no other…..and that true healing takes time.

Spending on your health and wellness to prevent illness is an investment in your future.
And there is a lot of confusing information about nutrition and health available. Sadly none of it takes into account your biochemistry, age, medications, current nutrition and lifestyle.
